Arellia has been an OEM supplier of Application Control Solution and Local Security Solution to Symantec for the Altiris Platform since 2005. In 2009 Arellia became an SDK Platform Provider for Symantec Corp. Arellia Local Security Solution and Arellia Application Control Solution are both available for purchase from Symantec through Symantec’s third party price list.
Arellia’s CEO, Michael Sainsbury, was formerly the CTO of Computing Edge (acquired by Altiris in 2000). While at Computing Edge Sainsbury was the primary architect behind the Notification Server technology. Michael worked at Altiris for a number of years and continued to drive the direction of the Notification Server platform. This same Notification Server platform today is referred to at the Symantec Management Platform. In 2005 Sainsbury founded Arellia to provide OEM solutions to Symantec.
Arellia has a global presence with offices in development offices in Utah, California, and Sydney, Australia as well as a local sales office in Germany.
